EXPOTUR 2008, Central America's most important tourism bourse for commercialization, ended with very good assessment from participants, both national as foreigners.

This year, the Costa Rican Association f Professionals in Tourism (ACOPROT), creators and organizers of the bourse, included the presentation of the Satellite Tourist Map, educational seminars for national sellers and international buyers, and the Expo Verde (Green) as the three main points of attraction, held simultaneously to the negotiations.
For the 24th consecutive year EXPOTUR reunited 295 national firms and from the isthmus, with delegates from over 135 wholesalers companies from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile, Spain, France, Switzerland and Israel, who celebrated business reunions with the objective of commercializing their tourist products and services in Costa Rica.
