Yes, I’ll be in Costa Rica for the ISA championship representing Peru in this huge event
affirmed the Champion of the ISA World Surfing Games Ecuador 2004 and the ASP World Tour in the same year; the surfer Sofía Mulanovich, who returns to the ISA Championships after two absences in California and Portugal.

The participation of the world most famous female surfer –according to Surfer Poll Award, that has won this title consequently the last three ceremonies- has a main reason: Costa Rica is the region in Latin America where she identifies herself with.

I like to represent Peru in Latin American countries, it feels like being at home by being in a different experience, it’s a place where Spanish is spoken. It’s a better experience than competing in far away countries”
said the Peruvian. The Peruvian surfer began the best year of her career, after getting her first ISA World Championship, with the sum of the ASP Women’s World Tour with the world’s best 16 surfers. With this, she won the two most important titles of the world.

In the same way, the team of the country where surf was born, called its top eight surfers known worldwide for their achievements and abilities in the water. This can place Peru as a favorite to be in the final 10.

The Peruvian team members are:
