Of the 18 open spaces for this contest, three will be occupied by competitors from Latin America: one by an Argentinean, one a Brazilian and the third one will be disputed between Chileans and Costa Ricans.

After the technical analysis of the data presented by each competitor, a group of 10 Costa Ricans will be defined, who will participate during the month of October on physical, mechanical, first aids, navigation, mountain biking, 4X4 vehicles’ driving, rappel, swimming, escalade and kayaking trials, during two days in Brazil.

After this eliminatory phase in Brazil, three candidates will be chosen for each space (three Brazilians, three Argentineans, two Chileans and one Costa Rican or two Costa Ricans and one Chilean) and between January 29 and February 4 of 2006, they will participate in the international selection in Eastnor Castle, England. From there finally will result the competitors of the Land Rover G4 Challenge 2006.
