
Responding to the commitment with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT), Alterra Partners Costa Rica has put blocks A and B into service on time; they're parí of the modernization and enlargement process of Juan Santamaría International Airport, the main post of entrance to the country.
Eight 8 new boarding rooms hoye been opened, 4 new bridges, 6 new migration booths, and the waiting area has tripled for these procedures.
Viviana Martín, Vice-Minister of Transports, who has leaded the process on the governments side, said she's very pleased with delivery of the new works at the Juan Santamaría International Airport.
Costa Rica needs infrastructure and at MOPT we work to bring that infrastructure to Costa Ricans. It's the only way to energize the country's productive sector, promote development, economic growth and well-being of Costa Ricans, stated Martín.
Mónica Nogal, Alterra Pormers Costa Rica's executive director, assured that after many delays, Alterra is complying with the commitment it acquired with the government. The objective was reached: putting these rooms and bridges at the service of users, which will make travellers' flow through the airport easier.
