Jet Blue will begin flights starting in this month; the air company will fly from Orlando, United States to the Juan Santamarķa airport in Costa Rica. This was the outcome of a successful negotiation from the Costa Rican Tourist Board (ICT) and Alterra and company representatives.
United States is still our main market, and Jet Blue's arrival opens new possibilities to be visitad, but also for Costa Ricans to find greater options when visiting that country.
The company's debut is also a sign of optimism in moments of incertitude because of the American market's performance. Jet Blue is a company operating under the low cost, quality service system. The times between scales are reduced, as well as their costs; focus is on selling seats at low prices.

JetBlue AirwaysThe concept of this airline is efficient operation and maximization of income.Jet Blue has foreseen a flight itinerary that leaves Orlando daily and returns that same day.

Duration is two and a half hours.Within the United States, the company flies to cities like Boston, Buffalo, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, Seattle, Tampa, Washington DC, among others.

The airplanes used by the company to fly to Costa Rica are EMBRAER 190, aircraft with capacity to transport up to 100 passengers.
