Guanacaste Seeks to consolidate itself as Leader of Costa Rican Tourism PDF Print E-mail
The province of Guanacaste is trying to place itself as the most important tourist area of the country; for 2006 they are expecting over 310.000 visitors.

The beauty of the beaches of Guanacaste is the catch to attract more foreign tourists each year.


The province businessmen’s goal is passing from 194.000 visitors in 2005 to 310.000 in 2006.

To achieve this they recently held a fair with the participation of over 30 companies, where they offered their tourist products and services to 44 representatives from Germany, United States, Canada, England, Argentina and Chile.
