From May 13 to 18 the 25TH edition of the EXPOTOUR will be held, where one of the main innovations is going to be the “opening” to the final consumer. So, for the weekend of May 16 and 17, product and service enterprises will show their offer to the general public, besides realizing vocational package selling.
This innovation answers the necessity to show to the national tourist the great and varied offer of destinations, activities, tourism products, lodging, tours, rent-a-car and others. It will be an opportunity to know and take the advantage of special fees that are offered in different regions of the country.
EXPOTOUR has projected the participation of 250 enterprises from 25 international purchasing-countries. In addition, EXPOTOUR will have the participation of 300 seller registered enterprises, which 90% will be Costa Ricans and the other 10% will be Central American nations.
There will be special attention to the novelties regarding products and services. Among them, we’ll have the rural tourism “duster”, welfare and medical tourism, educational tourism, incentive and congress tourism, and sustainable tourism; in which EXPOVerde stands out. In the sustainability ambit, there will be a compensation for the carbon emissions that will be liberated as part of the proper activities of the exchange.
