Expo Verde is coming!!! The friends of the environment suppliers’ fair |

The conservation of the natural resources is an obligation that all human beings are assuming little by little and the tourism enterprises in Costa Rica are taking the lead.
 This is the reason why the Corcovado Foundation is organizing the V Edition of the Friends of the Environment Supplier’s Fair, “Expo Verde 2010” which looks to promote among the public all the sustainable and conservation practices with nature. With the presentation of organic products, electrical innovations, synthetic wood, oxo-biodegradable plastics, chemical products that don’t damage the environment, and recycling, this activity is seeking to give the space to all responsible suppliers to present their products, inform and commercialize.
This fair will take place from March 18 to 21, 2010 in INBio Parque. The tourism sector will be participating this year for the first time by promoting their programs of environmental sustainability.
Some of the activities are:
- Training workshops related to sustainability given by the Rainforest Alliance. These workshops are directed to travel agencies, hoteliers and other related enterprises.
- Environment Education workshops for children and general public.
- Business conference involving the Tourism Sustainability Certification (CST).
- Cocktail “Let’s Cheer for Sustainability”.
- Artistic, educational, and professional development activities.
