Costa Rican participation in tourism festivals is paying off |

Costa Rica has a excellent promotion in Europe and the Europeans choosing a Costa Rica for vacation destination. Along with this, the first three months of the year overall have seen 532,000 tourists choose Costa Rica as their destination spot.
This figure reflects a 14% increase or 65,000 more tourists, in comparison to the first trimester of the previous year; these numbers represent only those entering the country by plane.
Another way to put it is that during January, February, and March of this year, 2,000 more tourists arrived daily, compared to the same months last year. Tourism continues to be a primary source of the country’s revenue, since it comprises almost a quarter of the country’s national exports.
