Costa Rica is expecting an increase of tourists for the end of year PDF Print E-mail
CANATUR Costa RicaAn increase of tourists entering the country is expected for this end of year, and according to Gonzalo Vargas, President of the National Chamber of Tourism (CANATUR), the high season will grow between 11% and 12% in comparison to the previous year, meaning that it will be as productive a year as 2005, representing the arrival of 940,000 tourists.

As of this date hotels are already announcing that they will be completely full for this high season, due to the fact that the majority of rooms are already reserved, especially the ones located in the areas that are most visited in the country.
