Costa Rica continues to lead the tourism Competitiveness Index |

For the third year in a row, Costa Rica continues its leadership by taking first place as the most competitive country in Latin America in the area of tourism; according to the Travel & Tourism Rankings of the World Economic Forum.
 WEF The study analyzed the attributes of 133 nations in the world. The results of the Ranking in the Tourism Competitiveness Index, placed Costa Rica in 42nd place in the world, up two positions from last year and placing the country above nations such as Mexico, Brazil and Puerto Rico.
The World Economic Forum considers three large parameters to measure these rankings: The regulatory framework, the scope of enterprise and infrastructure as well as Natural, Cultural and Human Resources of each country.
