Costa Rica beats USA soccer team 3 to 1 |

On wedneaday 4th 2009 at the Ricardo Saprissa Stadium Costa Rica won their first match of two against USA soccer team 3 to 1.

The goals were score by Alvaro Saborio scored 79 seconds in, the second-fastest goal against the United States in a World Cup qualifier, Celso Borges, Pablo Herrera and a penalty kick in favor of USA team score by Landon Donovan.
After this won Costa Rica is ranking number one in the CONCACAF area with nine points, follow by USA with 7, Honduras 4, Mexico 3, El Salvador and Trinidad & Tobago with 2 points.

The race to the classification to South Africa's World Soccer Cup 2010 will continue on Saturday June 6th when Costa Rica visit their next contender Trinidad & Tobago and USA Team will host the match against Honduras.
