The system is implemented at the Daniel Oduber International Airport, Liberia, for the first time in the country Continental Airlines has become the first airline in Costa Rica to implement automated reservations and other processes with the E-Service booth system, at the new terminal in operation at the Daniel Oduber International Airport, in Liberia (Guanacaste).

The system operates in six booths installed by Continental Airlines at the terminal in Liberia; users have the possibility to register themselves on-line, make reservations, and verify a wide array of options to make their trip easier.
With this system we introduce a significant advance to the country, saving up to 30% of the waiting time for passengers and airline, giving more time so the human team may offer a personalized service, according to passengers' needs, said Carlos Granados, Sales Manager for Continental Airlines Costa Rica.
Electronic booths have an easy to use touch-screen that lets passengers register, ster generate and buy an electronic ticket, even for same-day trips, purchase on electronic ticket for existing reservations, done directly with Continental or through a travel agency, print your boarding pass, print your voucher for the electronic ticket, register your luggage (on designated ticket stands), and select or change seats.
It's equally possible to change flights for a same day trip, verify or access the number of frequent traveler OnePoss program, upgrade class or put yourself in line for First Class (if the passenger is on eligible OnePoss Elite partner). Transactions done at the platform are available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese -simplified or traditional.
Booths have a magnetic reading system, so that during registration it's possible to use any of the main credit cards in the market, frequent traveler OnePass Elite Card from Continental, certain driver licences or passports having a magnetic band.
Booths at the airport only read the name codified on the card with the purpose of identifying the reservation, and it does not imply any additional charge. If a passenger cannot activate the booth, a representative from Continental will be available to assist him.
