The South Pacific Coast is an area that extends from Dominical in the North, all the way to the Osa Península and Golfito in the South. It is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas of Costa Rica as it concentrates many of Costa Rica's natural beauty.

The Osa Peninsula's Corcovado National Park for example, has been called by National Geographic "the most biologically intense place on Earth", with endless stretches of deserted beaches and immense uninhabited rain-soaked forests teeming with fauna and flora which offer magnificent viewings and encounters, males this truly an unforgettable place to visit. As a visitor you have many places to choose from for your stay and from which to organize your visits of discovery.

Marenco Biological Reserve, Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve and Corcovado National Park as well as Piedras Blancas National Park and the Golfito National Wildlife Refuge all offer plenty of wildlife. Corcovado for example can get over 25 feet of annual rainfall!! At higher elevations and where there is lots of water there is lots of wildlife including Central America's largest population of scarlet macaws (1200+) and over 155 reptile species and more than 400 species of birds.

Definitely a nature lover's paradise. Sports fishing, diving, surfing, bird watching, canopies, nature treks on foot and on horseback and more are all here just waiting for your very own voyage of discovery. Naturally, an area with so many attractions is also a real estate investor’s dream and there are several large and small projects currently under construction and this is a good time to get in as the values will definitely go up when more and more people discover this still fairly undiscovered paradise.

Currently a government study is underway to determine the feasibility of building a major international airport here and a new and very large marina is under construction in Golfito as well as plans for new medical facilities, golf courses and other facilities. Projects such as Las Vistas in Dominical which offers endless ocean views and the San Buenas Golf Resort further South offer an opportunity to acquire a vacation or retirement home of homesite at reasonable prices. You will be able to enjoy the best nature has to offer and get a great investment too. That’s a hard combination to beat.
