Park Attractions The Peñas Blancas Wildlife Refuge protects tropical evergreen forest areas on the southern slopes of the Tilaran Mountains of Costa Rica. Site of the Peñas Blancas River Hydroelectric Project. It is located within the Montes de Oro Protected Zone.



Park Facilities and Hours There are no public park facilities at this national wildlife refuge.
