Green, green, green

Perez Zeledon Costa RicaThe radiant and exuberant green that delights the sight and refreshes the environment, be it in summer or in winter. Mountains that rest on the sea. Deep blue sea that nests whales and dolphins. A dense nature. Sundowns similar to paradise. Visitors can observe, at certain time of the year, four species of whales and dolphins. The whales arrive, to these crystalline waters, to mate and have their young; the dolphins play with the tourists. There is a tour on boats that allows you to go seek these cetaceans, while they jump saluting and showing off their pranks in total harmony with the sea and the energy or the water.

But the magic and the marvel do not rest only with the whales and the dolphins. On land the flora and the fauna make up a landscape that is more than lulling. The biodiversity, every day of the year, in the south Pacific shines to such a degree that nature reaches the deepest part of the soul of those who visit the place. It is the vibration of nature that traps one. It is the landscape that caresses. It is life itself at its maximum expression.

In Costa Ballena is located the only sea park that in Costa Ballena is located the only sea park that exists in Costa Rica that together with the biological reserve of Isla del Caño, are tours that the visitors must not miss. Further away from Costa Ballena, on the Osa peninsula, is the Corcovado National Park, considered by National Geographic “as the biologically richest place on the planet”.

The more than varied gastronomy is simply exquisite. Fruits abound. Seafood delights the palate. One eats there under the principle of good cuisine, wholesome, exotic and healthy ingredients. Good wine is not lacking, faithful partner of a good table.
