Nestled in the midst of the Golf of Papagayo and only 6 minutes away from the effervescent Playas del Coco and at 20 minutes distance from the International Airport at Liberia, Playa Hermosa is located in a wide bay with two kilometers of beach surrounded by mountains covered by primary tropical forest and some hotel and residential developments that enjoy a privileged view to the Papagayo Gulf.

here you will find ample variety from luxury boutique hotels to large resorts. There are high cuisine restaurants. It has souvenir shops, supermarkets, spa, a movie theater, tour operators and a full range of shops and services.

In addition to beach activities, Playa Hermosa is famous for its excellent conditions for diving and snorkeling. Other favorite activities are yacht tours and sports fishing. There are kayaks, windsurf of jet skis available for rent and a you can find a variety of tours to interesting places in nearby areas.
