Costa Rica receives a prize for sustainable tourism |

Costa Rica was awarded the first place in the contest "Tourism for All," to innovation in tourism and hostelry, for the launching of the program Certification of Sustainable Tourism (CST).
 The acknowledgment was granted in the framework of the 3d Latin American Virtual Congress on Competitiveness of Tourism Companies and Destinations, with 707 countries attending.
For Carlos Ricardo Benavides, Minister of Tourism, this award is another incentive to continue with the efforts of the CST program, and to strengthen it within the tourism sustainable development policy carried out by the country. |
