It's impossible not to surrender to this place. A real example of the force of nature is present here. You can't avoid feeling the water and thrilling with that sensation. All your senses come alive in this scenario. Everything belongs to the senses: you listen to the water flowing; you almost have to scream to talk to someone next to you; you feel the cold of the humidity; what you see is a blend of green and white there are no contrasting colors but the blue of the sky, nothing artificial altering the ecosystem.

What you breathe is pure; it's possible to capture the forest's clean air, take it into your lungs with the feeling you never want to release it. Nature's strength embraces you here. The Impressive White Magic
The waterfalls' garden is how Vara Blanca is known; it has five of the most impressive waterfalls of America. The one called White Magic measures 37 meters. This strong fall of water surges from a high mountain falling towards the forest. The whole park is full of trails that guide you to certain points of the waterfalls, making it possible to reach their different levels. All the forest has huge rocky formations where different types of plants grow. It even counts with an orchids nursery, which grow thanks to the humid climate. To reach the waterfalls you must go down one kilometer on a narrow and very extensive trail, around 2 thousand steps down hill. The best part is that you never climb them back, because after you get to the finish, there's a bus expecting you, taking you to the park's entrance to taste a delicious buffet lunch after the exercise.

The world's largest butterfly nursery is found here. The structure of this place lets them go up, flying freely, while visitors walk past their natural habitat. These lands are for growing these species which unceasingly flap their wings. It has an interesting perspective to watch the development and growth of these insects, so representative of Costa Rica, so colorful.
The most famous species in the country is the Blue Morphs. It is easily recognized for its distinguishable brilliant wings, which are formed by a transparent membrane, at the same time covered by several layers of scales that reflect the blue tonalities. Males are more colorful than the females.
