Two hundred years of coffee history PDF Print E-mail
The Costa Rican Coffee Institute (Icafe)The Costa Rican Coffee Institute (ICAFE) organizes some activities to celebrate two hundred years of coffee tradition in Costa Rica.

Among them in the National Museum an exhibition of 16 paintings named after "200 years of Coffee in Costa Rica: Celebrating the natural taste of our soil." The paintings were presented with the "Gold Coffee Been Award" (Grano de Oro).

This prize has been awarded since 1988 to artists for paintings related to the theme "coffee". The exhibition will be open until the end of July.
