Tamales Beach
Located south of Puerto Jimenez on the road to Matapalo, this long beach is shaped in a half-moon, and features rocky coastline to the south and the mouth of the Ri­o Tamales near its center. The surf is gentle to moderate depending on location. Birds may be seen among the coastal greenery.
