Cabuya Beach Costa Rica
Cabuya Beach
It is located seven kilometers south of Montezuma and two kilometers north of the Absolute Nature Preserve of Cabo Blanco. Also communicates with Malpais through a convenient, very picturesque road for double traction cars. Is an open-sea and rocky beach. Have plenty coastal vegetation and strong swelling. It possesses a beautiful coastal landscape, where Cabuya Island, which has the particularity to be a pre-Colombian native cemetery stands out. During the low tide you can get there by foot, since there's a rocky platform that unites it with the coast. It is an ideal beach to carry out walks and to observe the nature, especially in Cabo Blanco.

Nature Haven

We had a fantastic vacation in Cabuya. A wonderful place to experience Costa Rican culture. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful, not to mention patient with our rusty spanish! We stayed in a great private vacation rental not far from the beach. Totally recommend them. Nice house, lovely owners, ideal 'home away from home'. The village has everything you need, but the proximity to Montezuma and Mal Pais makes it the perfect blend of remoteness and convenience. With Cabo Blanco Nature Preserve right on the doorstep, this place is a nature haven. I wish I could have the symphony of nature as the soundtrack to every day of my life. We miss it so much we've already booked our next trip back!
