Costa Rica Bungee Jumping PDF Print E-mail
Costa Rica Bungee JumpingBungee Jumping started in Costa Rica in September of 1991, and there are currently two bridges where it takes place regularly. The old Colorado River bridge, which is 80 meters (265 ft.) high, is in a beautiful canyon setting only 40 minutes west of San Jos. The bridge is close to the Pan-American highway on the way to the Pacific coast beaches, so stopping for a jump on your way is a must.

Another bridge which can sometimes be used upon request is the Peas Blancas bridge on the way to La Fortuna, near Arenal Volcano. This bridge is only 32 meters (108 ft.) high but has a beautiful setting over the clear waters of the Peas Blancas River.
